Akrot Studio is an independent software studio building practical, thoughtfully designed digital products that make everyday life a little easier. Its first product is Penny, a private budget app for Windows and Android.
Akrot Studio is an independent software studio focused on building practical, thoughtfully designed digital products that make everyday life a little easier. Its philosophy is simple: good software should solve real problems, respect people's time, and provide genuine value. From personal finance and productivity to tools that simplify everyday tasks, Akrot turns problems worth solving into applications designed around the people who use them. Its first product, Penny, tells people what's safe to spend each day with no bank login and all data encrypted on their own device. The name comes from the Greek ákros, "the highest point".

Use the files as they are: no stretching, recolouring, rotating or effects. Keep clear space around the logo equal to the height of the lit tip, and don't use the lockup smaller than 96 pixels wide.

Penny tells you what's safe to spend each day until payday, after every bill, card payment and set-aside. It records spending from bank notifications, receipts, plain words and statement files, with no bank login, and keeps everything encrypted on the device. Free on the Microsoft Store, with Android in testing.
